E-1 We have so many things, but Thou does know our heart and know everything that we have need of. We’re so glad that we can bring it to You in prayer, knowing that You understand and will give to us of Thy goodness; not that we are worthy of it, but because Thou has promised it to us. I’m sure that there’s many requests in the church this morning, for sickness and the needy one. And we would humbly bring them to Thee just now, asking for Thy tender mercy and healing power, for each of them.

E-2 We also pray for the convalescence and those who could not get to church this morning. Also, for the many that has gathered here now. Many are sick and needy. We see them with crutches and in chairs, and wheel chairs, and they are—they are needing Thy mercy. We pray, Lord, that You’ll grant it to them, abundantly. May they go out of here, rejoicing, healed and well. Many who doesn’t show their affliction, but, yet, maybe heart trouble is just about to take them, or cancer, or some dreaded demon. We pray, Lord, that he’ll be cast away this morning. They’ll go out of here, happy, well.

E-3 We would remember that little boy that—that’s dying. It was just told us, by a loved one, that’s got cancer and going to die today, if Your mercy doesn’t spread forth to that child. O Lord God, be merciful to that little boy. Give him deliverance, Lord; if it so be in Thy Divine will. We’re so happy for his testimony, that he has accepted Thy Blood, so much that he asked his daddy to bury him in red, so they would know he was covered by the Blood. We thank You, Lord, for such gallant faith of little heroes, march forward to meet the end of life, embracing to their hearts the cross, and there showing the mark of Blood. If it be all possible, Lord, spare the little lad, let him live. We’ve asked for others.

E-4 And then, Lord, we pray for the services this morning. There is some here, maybe, that doesn’t know You as their Saviour. If that be so, may this be the day that they find Thee precious to their life, as a Saviour. Those who are needing healing, find You as the Healer. Lord, may You come to Your servant, this morning. May I find You as the Preacher. For, we commit all this to Thee, asking that You’ll answer in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

And she said, “I got the keys, Billy.” And come to find out, she had the keys to the garage, too. I couldn’t get in. I had an awful time.

E-13 Dear Heavenly Father, in the days of Your walking here on earth, in the form of man, called the Lord Jesus, they brought to You little children. And You laid Your hands upon them and blessed them, and said, “Suffer little children to come to Me, and forbid them not, for such is the Kingdom.” This mother gives into my arms, this morning, this little lad, who I present to Thee. Pray, Lord, that You’ll bless the little fellow. Bless his home. May he be reared in a Christian home. In admonition of God, may he be raised. And if there be a tomorrow, may he preach the Gospel if it’s so ordained of Thee. Give him a long life, healthy. Bless his parents. May every good thing that You promised, come upon this little boy. The mother has presented him into our hands, as the elders of the church. And now we present him to You. In the Name of the Jesus Christ, may You bless this child. Amen.

And then if we wait, and He feels that it’s time for a revival, then He impresses that on our heart, then we feel to have the revival.

E-18 And going down the street, yesterday, a fellow that lived here in the city, that was a pretty rough little fellow. And always liked him, and nice boy. And my wife lived next door to them. And he was kind of a singer, and a musician. And he used to sit over there and pat his foot, with a big cowboy hat on, and saw-fiddle. But he worked on the WPA. And one day something happened, that always reminded me, or kept in my mind, rather, for a long time. It never left. He had several little children; lovely wife. They were poor as poor could be, as we all are.

You see that disappointed look on those little fellows faces, and it always stuck with me, such a disappointment.

And yesterday, coming down the street, when I…Wife and I were coming out of the supermarket, or the Quaker Maid downtown, who did I meet, face-to-face, but him? And one of the first things they wanted to tell me, he had become a Christian. He hadn’t drank for years. And I’m glad to have you, Mr. Logston, sitting on a front seat, here in the church, this morning. He’s a member of Brother Junior Cash church at Charlestown, Indiana, very fine brother. So much better to be a Christian than it is out there in the world. Isn’t it? Now, I think he sings on the programs, and plays his music, to the glory of the Lord. Just another trophy of God’s amazing grace.

When I walk out on the porch, and I get over and stand on the porch, I’m going to echo through all them hollows.
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound,

E-25 Lord we are something like a group of children. We have our human aspects, and, we, our senses of humor, our fellowship together. Now we come to that most sacred part of any service, to read the infallible Word of the living God. I’d ask, Lord, that You would speak with every Word. May It go forth and sink into the hearts of the people, and will reap the harvest for which it was intended. May the great Holy Spirit come among us now, and take these Words that shall be read, and divide It to us, severally, as we have need. For we ask it in Jesus’ Name and for His sake. Amen.

E-28 It’s strange how God, in many places, represents His people in different ways. Not long ago we were speaking where He represented us as the eagle, and He being an Eagle Himself, and we His little eaglet. And I trust that everything will go right. The last time I spoke on that, I got a letter where…That great city, many of you know where it was at, in Ohio, that the ministerial association gathered together and condemned my services because that I believe that God called a man to Eternal Life before the foundation of the world. And to my belief, if God is God, ever was God, He still is God, and always was God. If He didn’t know me before the world came into existence, then He’s not God.

E-29 Many of you have been reading here at the fairgrounds, and so forth, on this supersensory perception. And some of that has, course, backfired back to my ministry. But, if you ever studied or had any way of studying mythology, myth: “something that seems like it is, but it isn’t.”

E-30 Şi în Scripturi, aflăm că Iane şi Iambre s-au împotrivit lui Moise prin a face practic acelaşi lucru ce au făcut ei, prin aruncarea toiagului şi transformarea în şarpe. Moise a chemat plăgile. E-30 And in the Scriptures, we find that Jambres and Jannes withstood Moses by doing practically the same thing they did, by casting down the rod and turning to a serpent. Moses called for plagues. And they could call plagues, too, but they could not take the plagues away. They couldn’t heal, because God is the only healer. But they could cause plagues to come, then Moses took them away. Then the final showdown came, where Moses did just as God told him to do.

E-31 And I know, all this that’s about, in the world today, is finally going to come to one great showdown some day. Cause, the Bible said, “As Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so will men with reprobate mind, concerning the Faith, withstand in the last days, but their follies will be made manifest.” It’s a prophecy that must be fulfilled, and you can see both sides arising now.

E-32 But Moses did just exactly what God told him to do. He threw down the rod and it turned to a serpent. And these soothsayers come out and throwed down their rods and it turned to a serpent. Moses was at the end of his intelligence, and at the end of his strength.

E-33 Dar acolo vrea Dumnezeu să ne aducă, chiar la capătul drumului nostru, apoi El păşeşte înăuntru. Aceea este ca El. E-33 But that’s where God wants to get us, just to the end of our road, then He steps in. It’s just like Him. Maybe you’re so sick, this morning, till the doctor says you can’t live. Drowning man will reach for a straw. That’s the way it is when we try to get…All that we can work, ourselves, that’s humanly, that we’ll do it. But when it comes to a place where there’s no other hope, them who doesn’t believe in Divine healing will believe right away then. It’s their only hope.

E-34 Şi Moise a fost la capătul puterilor lui, atunci Dumnezeu a păşit înăuntru şi a făcut ca şarpele lui să mănânce şerpii celorlalţi oameni. Atunci şarpele lui nu a mai fost.

E-34 And Moses was at the end of his reach, then God stepped in and caused his serpent to eat up the serpent of the other man. Then his serpent was no more.

E-35 Acum, în percepţia super simţului, şi în mitologie, şi tot spiritismul. Daţi-mi voie, chiar înainte de a începe textul meu, să vă stabilesc chiar cu aceasta, cu ajutorul lui Dumnezeu, dacă pot. E-35 Now, in supersensory perception, and in mythology, and all spiritualists. Let me, just before I start on my text, set you straight with this, by the help of God, if I can. The devil can make things seem right, but they always prove that they are not right. Now, they’ve never been able to get a picture of any of these here spirits that they have appear, because they’re actually not there.

E-36 But when it come time for God to prove to science, He was God, He permitted the picture to be taken. It’s lasting forever. Examiner said, “The Light struck the lens. The Light was actually there. It wasn’t psychology.” So, you see, what God does is lasting.

E-37 Moses’ serpent swallowed up the serpent of the others. And he could pick it up in his hand, and their serpent was on the inside of that stick. What the devil does is myth. What God does is real. Therefore, I like this to sink deep down into the hearts. When God saves a man, he’s saved. Don’t worry about ever going back; you can’t. What God does is Eternal. The devil can work you up and make you believe you’re saved. But when God actually saves you, you’ve got it as long as ever is, because you got Eternal Life. Jesus said so.

E-44 So we read here that David cried out, and said, “O Lord God, come back to us again. We have sinned and have turned away from You. You Who dwells between the altar and the cherubim, shine forth again.” For he knew that one time He was God among them, and David knew that He was still God. The people had separated themselves from Him. God didn’t shine forth anymore. It wasn’t because He could not shine forth. Is because the people shut off His mercies to them, by their sin. Then David goes to our text. Psalms 80:7.

They were God’s chosen. But if a good vine isn’t set in good ground, it will not bring forth good fruits. It depends on where the vine is planted, will determinate the results of the crop. So, God picked up Israel, out of a barren ground.

E-46 It’s something like today. We’ve got, in the land, many great and fine believers, and they are mixed in all denominational churches. They come from different denominations and different walks of life. That’s why, in my ministry, I have never tried, at any time, to run down any certain person or any certain denomination, because, in them all, is good people. They are God’s called and chosen people.

E-47 Could you have condemned Israel while it was in Egypt? They just got off on the wrong foot. And their sins had separated them from—from God, and they were planted in Egypt.

E-48 În acel fel sunt mulţi oameni, în biserici astăzi, oameni buni doar plantaţi în locul greşit. Acum dacă un credincios adevărat este adus în Cristos, şi se plantează în vreo denominaţie mare care nu crede în miracole şi semne şi minunile Domnului, persoana aceea poate fi un creştin veritabil, şi un Catolic, Baptist, Prezbiterian, Martor al lui Iehova, sau altceva. E-48 That’s the way many people are, in churches today, good people just planted in the wrong place. Now if a real believer is brought to Christ, and he’s planted in some great denomination that doesn’t believe in miracles and signs and wonders of the Lord, that person may be a genuine Christian, and a Catholic, Baptist, Presbyterian, Jehovah Witness, something else. In that church, a genuine Vine of God, but the denominational creed cuts off the Life of that Vine. It can’t bear Its fruit.

Instead of finding great luscious apples or grapes, the Life of the Lord Jesus being reproduced in the Church, it finds little, knotty, worm-eaten, denominational, petty thoughts. “We Baptists, we got it. They haven’t got nothing to do with it. We Methodists, we got it.” The arms of God reach from sea to sea, and from shore to shore, can save to the utmost. But that’s what we find in the places where we go.

E-54 It is like David also said, again, in the Psalms 1. He said, “Blessed is the man that will not join up with these scoffers and ungodly people, not connect with them, not set in the seat with them. You know, scoffers that say, ‘The days of miracles is passed. And the baptism of the Holy Spirit is just a make-believe.’ Blessed is the man that will not do that. Blessed is the man that will stand forth from such a thing. They don’t want to mix those together. And you cannot mix those things together. Blessed is the man who won’t assemble himself and onto one of those things that deny the Power of the Lord.”

E-55 The Bible said, “Come out from among such, for the day will come when they will be heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the Power thereof: from such turn away.”

He’ll bring forth his leaves and fruits in the season.” Watch how David worded that. “This man is blessed. He will be planted,” not just set out. You know, I like seeing anything planted.

And a man that’s a Christian, that rests his Eternal destination upon some denominational creed, he’s not in his right place. He was born to be free, and a child of God, to worship God. But he’s under a creed, he can’t bring forth his fruit, yet something in him is a longing to do it.

E-58 “He shall be like a tree that is planted by the rivers of water.” Rivers, plural; water, singular. Many rivers coming into the one channel. In other words, he’ll be like a man in the Scripture, that believes all of God’s Word, where the Power and the nine spiritual gifts can flow, through one God, into his innermost being.

E-59 Oamenii nu cred în strigare. Lucrul cu aceea este, ei nu au bucurie spirituală. Şi bucuriile apelor Vieţii pot curge prin aceea. E-59 People don’t believe in shouting. The thing of it is, they haven’t got spiritual joy. And the joys of the waters of Life can flow through. That’s a whole lot is the matter with the Branham Tabernacle, because that unbelief, the cares of the world had bound the people until it cannot produce spiritual growth.

E-60 That’s what’s the matter with our nation. That’s the matter with our churches. They have no joy. And the joy of the Lord has departed. As was written one time in the Scripture, the Hebrew word of Ichabod, which means, “The Presence of the Lord hath departed.” That’s over our churches, because that we left off of the original foundation, and placed ourselves into creeds and denomination, and permitted the things of the world to dry up our experience with God.

Is because it had no water. That’s what dried it up. That sticker is a leaf, rolled up. For the lack of water, it becomes a sticker.

E-62 Aşa este cu Biserica, astăzi, când Biserica se îndepărtează de Izvorul Vieţii. Când ea se îndepărtează de bucuriile salvării, când se îndepărtează de Domnul Dumnezeu, atunci persoana aceea devine un spine, întotdeauna găseşte greşală, împungând. Foarte repede vă ridicaţi: „Sunt un Prezbiterian. Sunt un Metodist. Eu sunt un aşa şi aşa. Nu-mi spune de lucrurile acelea.” Un spine! Acela nu are roade.

E-62 Thus it is with the Church, today, that when the church gets away from the Fountain of Life. When it gets away from the joys of salvation, when it gets away from the Lord God, then that person becomes a sticker, always finding fault, sticking. No sooner you come up, “I’m Presbyterian. I’m a Methodist. I’m a so-and-so. Don’t talk to me about that stuff.” A sticker! It has no fruits.

E-64 What’s the matter with the church today? It’s been set into a denomination, that has put denominational creeds and bound it, no joy, just a sprinkle now and then, of a little revival to hold it. What it needs to be, is to come out from among scoffers and unbelievers, and be planted by the rivers of water.
For there is a Fountain filled with Blood,
Drawn from Immanuel’s vein.
Where sinners, unbelievers, plunge beneath the flood,
Lose all their guilty stain.

E-65 „Un pom,” a zis David: „care se plantează lângă râuri de apă.” Oh! Dumnezeu nu poate curge printr-un cactus.

E-65 “A tree,” David said, “that’s planted by the rivers of water.” Oh! God cannot flow Hisself through a cactus.

E-66 Acum, apa reprezintă viaţa. Noi ştim că Moise, în pustie, a lovit Stânca, şi a curs din ea apele vieţii pentru un popor muribund. Şi Isus a zis: „Precum Moise a lovit stânca în pustie, tot la fel Fiul omului va fi înălţat,” şi a fost lovit.

E-66 Now, water represents life. We know that Moses, in the wilderness, he smote the Rock, and it gave forth waters of life to a perishing people. And Jesus said, “As Moses smote the rock in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up,” and He was smitten.

E-67 Viaţa este într-o celulă de sânge. Şi Viaţa aceea nu poate veni până când celula de Sânge nu este întreruptă şi spartă.

E-67 Life is in a blood cell. And that Life cannot come forth until the Blood cell is interrupted and broken.

E-68 Când Dumnezeu a scos Israelul, El le-a dat o probă, ca naţiune. El i-a scos din Egipt, între necredincioşi. Şi i-a adus sub purtarea Lui gingaşă, pe aripile unui vultur, acel vultur mare, Moise, care i- a condus din loc în loc, încercând să-i aducă în stare, să treacă dincolo. Timp de patruzeci de ani El i-a condus şi i-a hrănit în pustie. Şi a înzestrat pământul, un pământ bun, un teren ales. Şi a arătat miracolul Lui, semne şi minuni, timp de patruzeci de ani în pustie. El a produs miracole şi semne, prin acest profet, să arate că El era Dumnezeu. Cine putea seca marea în afară de El? Cine putea lovi Egiptul în afară de El? Cine îndrăznea să ridice un braţ în afară de el. Dar, în mijlocul tuturor, El era Dumnezeu, şi El s-a arătat Însuşi Dumnezeu. El a vrut cu siguranţă ca poporul Lui să facă aşa.

E-68 When God brought Israel out, He gave them a try, as a nation. He plucked them up in Egypt, amongst unbelievers. And brought them in His tender care, on the wings of an eagle, that great eagle, Moses, that led them from place to place, trying to get them in condition, to cross over. For forty years He led them and fed them in the wilderness. And He nourished the ground, a good ground, a choice ground. And He showed His miracle, signs and wonders, for forty years in the wilderness. He produced miracles and signs, by this prophet, to show that He was God. Who could dry up the sea but Him? Who could smite Egypt but Him? Who dared to raise a hand but Him? But, in the midst of all of it, He was God, and He showed Hisself God. He surely wanted His people to do so.

E-69 Apoi El a udat pământul Palestinei cu sângele caprelor şi a junincilor, boi, oi. Dar oamenii nu au vrut să stea. Aceea nu era suficientă, fiindcă viaţa boilor... Celula de sânge s-a frânt, şi viaţa animală a venit înapoi, aceea nu coincide cu viaţa umană.

E-69 Then He soaked the ground of Palestine, with the blood of goats and heifers, bullocks, sheep. But the people would not stand. It wasn’t sufficient, because the life of the bullock…The blood cell broke, and the animal life came back, it would not coincide with the human life.

E-70 Într-o zi, Dumnezeu a fost hotărât să-şi salveze poporul, Biserica Lui predestinată. El a trebuit să o facă, Însuşi, fiindcă El a predestinat-o înainte de întemeierea lumii.

E-70 One day, God was determined that He would save His people, His predestinated Church. He had to do it, Himself, because He predestinated it before the foundation of the world.

E-71 Omul este greşit, şi întotdeauna va fi. El este greşit, de la început, şi întotdeauna va fi greşit.

E-71 Man is a failure, and always will be. He’s a failure, to start with, and he’ll always be a failure.

E-72 Dumnezeu, în predestinarea Lui, în gândirea Lui mare infinită, a planificat planul şi a plantat o Viţă reală. Şi a plantat pe acest pământ, Viţa, Viţa neprihănirii; nu o denominaţie, nu o biserică, nu un crez, ci un Om, Însuşi, s-a făcut trup. Şi El şi-a manifestat pacea, Puterea, marele Înger al lui Dumnezeu. Marele Iehova era cu El. Şi în El a locuit toată plinătatea Dumnezeirii trupeşte. Şi oamenii nu L-au crezut; şi nu L-au crezut fiindcă El nu a cooperat cu crezul lor.

E-72 God, in His predestination, in His Own great infinite mind, planned the plan to put a real Vine down. And He planted on this earth, the Vine, the righteous Vine; not a denomination, not a church, not a creed, but a Man, Himself, made flesh. And He manifested His peace, His Power, the great Angel of God. The great Jehovah was with Him. And in Him dwelt the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And men did not believe Him; and disbelieve Him because He would not cooperate with their creed.

E-73 În final, ei L-au condus la Calvar. Acolo acea celulă de Sânge s-a spart, a scumpului Fiu al lui Dumnezeu, Sângele în care a trăit Iehova. Acolo a ieşit o Viţă, cu rădăcinile Ei în Glorie, cu ramurile Ei pe pământ, să producă o Biserică a Dumnezeului cel viu, care va arăta învierea şi Puterea Lui. Cine sunt aceşti oameni care neagă Biserica aceea, Viţa Dumnezeului cel viu? Veşnica cădere... Prezenţa Domnului Isus cu Biserica lui, să trăiască, şi să arate ramurile Lui predestinate, pe care le-a prins înainte de întemeierea pământului. Şi a jurat, prin aceea, că le va învia. Şi Biserica Lui, astăzi, cu gloria învierii Lui trăind în Ea! „Eu sunt Viţa; voi sunteţi mlădiţele.” De fiecare dată când bate inima, sângele pulsează la fiecare mădular din trup. De fiecare dată când bate inima loială a lui Dumnezeu, pulsează prin Numele lui Isus Cristos, către Biserică: „Orice veţi cere în Numele Meu, voi face. Eu sunt cu voi întotdeauna, chiar până la capătul lumii.”

E-73 Finally, they led Him away to Calvary. There that Blood cell was broken, of the precious Son of God, the Body in which Jehovah lived. There came forth a Vine, with Its roots in Glory, with Its branches on earth, to produce a Church of the living God, that would show forth His resurrection and His Power. Who is these men and women that would deny that Church, the Vine of the living God? The ever-failing…Presence of the Lord Jesus with His Church, to live, and to show forth His predestinated branches, that He caught before the foundation of the earth. And swore, by those, that He would raise them up. And His Church, today, with the glory of His resurrection living in Her! “I am the Vine; ye are the branches.” Every time the heart beats, the blood pulsates to every member of the body. Every time the loyal heart of God beats, it pulsates through the Name of Jesus Christ, to the Church, “Whatever you ask in My Name, that I will do. I am with you always, even to the end of the world.”

E-74 Nu-i de mirare că Petru a spus, în Ziua Cincizecimii: „Pocăiţi-vă, fiecare din voi, fiţi botezaţi în Numele lui Isus Cristos pentru iertarea păcatelor voastre, şi veţi fi umpluţi cu Viaţa din Viţă.” Duhul Sfânt dându-Şi Numele, acela, dacă suntem conectaţi cu El. El este conectat cu Dumnezeu, fiindcă El a fost Rădăcina şi Vlăstarul lui Dumnezeu.

E-74 No wonder Peter said, on the Day of Pentecost, “Repent, every one of you, be baptized into the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and you shall be filled with the Life from the Vine.” The Holy Spirit giving forth His Name, that, if we’re connected with Him. He’s connected with God, because He was the Root and Offspring of God.

E-75 El a venit pe pământ. „Pământul a fost făcut prin El. A venit în lume; şi lumea nu L-a cunoscut.”

E-75 He came to the earth. “The earth was made by Him. He came unto the world; and the world knew Him not.”

E-76 Şi acum, astăzi, El, după ce a murit, să-Şi dea celula de sânge, să frângă, ca prin Sângele lui Isus Cristos să sfinţească o Biserică şi să o pună în ordine. Căci, marele Duh Sfânt, care este Viaţa Viţei, Viaţa Eternă a viţei, pe care Duhul Sfânt o poate pulsa în fiecare mădular al Bisericii Dumnezeului cel viu.

E-76 And now, today, He, after His dying, to give forth the Blood cell, to break, that through the Blood of Jesus Christ a Church could be sanctified and put in order. That, the great Holy Spirit, which is the Life of the Vine, the Eternal Life of the Vine, that Holy Spirit could pulsate into every member of the Church of the living God.

E-77 Nu-i de mirare că ei sunt un popor deosebit. Şi ciudat, nu-i de mirare că ei se comportă ciudat. Nu mai au afaceri din lumea aceasta, că ei sunt morţi şi îngropaţi în Cristos, şi au înviat la o viaţă nouă, să fie primele roade a celor ce se bucură de învierea spirituală, că Duhul Sfânt va trece prin orice mădular, şi va arăta gloria lui Dumnezeu, aşa cum Dumnezeu a arătat Egiptului când a scos Viţa.

E-77 No wonder they’re an odd and peculiar people. No wonder they act strange. They don’t have no more affairs of this world, for they are dead and buried in Christ, and have raised to a new life, to be the first fruits of them that enjoy the spiritual resurrection, that the Holy Spirit would go through every member, and to show forth the glory of God, like God showed Egypt when He brought forth the Vine.

E-78 Acum, există o viţă sălbatică. Biblia vorbeşte despre ea în 2 Regi. Şi observaţi, când acest predicator a ieşit să adune mazăre, a luat din viţa sălbatică. E-78 Now, there is a wild vine. The Bible speaks of it in Second Kings. And did you notice, when this preacher went out to gather peas, he got off the wild vine. Those wild vines must grow close to a seminary somewhere, ’cause it was at the school of the prophets. And he picked a lap full of gourds. He throwed them into a kettle, and tried to mix it with real, genuine pottage. And they cried out, “There’s death in the pot.”

E-79 Frate, există o viţă falsă crescută, şi creşte în jurul unui crez, denominaţia. Şi când iese de acolo, aceea închide toată bucuria spirituală. Şi primul lucru ştiţi, viţa aceea este moartă.

E-79 Brother, there is a wild vine growed, and it grows around creed, denomination. And when it gets out there, it shuts off all the spiritual joy. And the first thing you know, that vine is dead.

E-80 Dar Dumnezeu a hotărât ca viţa Lui să nu moară. Astfel El a scos-o, din aceste crezuri, şi o umple cu Duhul Sfânt, şi o pune, în Numele lui Isus Cristos. Acolo biserica aceea poate pulsa şi trăi, şi să se bucure, simţind Prezenţa Dumnezeului cel viu, urmărindu-l mişcându-se şi făcând lucrurile ce le-a făcut când a fost aici pe pământ.

E-80 But God is determined that His vine won’t die. So He plucked It up, out of those creeds, and fills It with the Holy Ghost, and sets It down, in Jesus Christ’s Name. There that Church can pulsate and live, and enjoy, feel the Presence of the living God, watching Him move and do the things that He did when He was here on earth.

E-81 De ce? Mlădiţele Lui, legăturile Lui, rădăcina Lui, începutul Lui, a fost Dumnezeu. El a fost Mielul junghiat înainte de întemeierea lumii. Înainte de a fi o lume, El a fost cu Dumnezeu. El a fost Rădăcina şi Vlăstarul lui David, Steaua dimineţii, Crinul din vale. Acela a fost El.

E-81 Why? His branches, His connection, His root, His beginning, was God. He was the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world. Before there was a world, He was with God. He was the Root and the Offspring of David, the Morning Star, the Lily of the Valley. That He was.

E-82 Rădăcinile Lui sunt înfăşurate în jurul lui Dumnezeu, în jurul Tronului, în jurul Împărăţiei lui Dumnezeu. Rădăcinile Lui sunt înfăşurate. Viaţa Lui se răspândeşte pe pământ. Şi El şi-a dat Viaţa, ca să poată merge înapoi în rădăcini şi să pulseze din nou, să nască ramuri din Viţa aceea, care este Biserica lui arătând aceleaşi rezultate ce a arătat când a fost aici pe pământ, să-L facă acelaşi ieri, astăzi, şi în veci.

E-82 His roots are wrapped around God, around the Throne, around the Kingdom of God. His roots are wrapped. His Life spread forth to the earth. And He gave His Life, that He might go back to the roots and pulsate again, to bring forth branches out of that Vine, which is His Church showing forth the same results that He did when He was here on earth, to make Him the same yesterday, today, and forever.

E-83 O, Biserică a Dumnezeului cel viu, credeţi aceasta, Adevărul! Acolo este El. Când adevăratul Duh al lui Dumnezeu se mişcă peste credincios, orice spune Scriptura, va zice: „Amin.” De ce? Este acelaşi Duh Sfânt care a scris Biblia, este în el, pulsând viaţa lui. Pentru el nu contează cine stă în jur, sau ce spune altcineva. Aceea întotdeauna va fi parte din Cuvânt.

E-83 O Church of the living God, believe this, the Truth! There He is. When the true Spirit of God moves upon the believer, whatever the Scripture says, he’ll say, “Amen.” Why? It’s the Holy Ghost that wrote the Bible, is in him, pulsating his life. He don’t care who is sitting around, or what anybody else says. It’ll always divvy with the Word.

E-84 There is a false. It’s gourds. It’s off of the wild vine. It’s a great vine, covers all the earth, but it’s death. A lot of that’s been cast among the people.

E-85 Dar, amintiţi-vă: „Făina” o aduce înapoi la Viaţă, o smulge şi o pune printr-un loc evlavios, care este Cristos Isus. Orice este Cuvântul Lui, să fie „amin,” pentru voi. Apoi Duhul lui Dumnezeu, apoi, bucuria spirituală va curge ca un râu. „El va fi ca un om, un pom, care este plantat lângă râuri de apă. Frunzele lui nu se vor vesteji. E-85 But, remember, “Meal” brings it back to Life, pluck it up and set it by a goodly place, which is Christ Jesus. Whatever His Word is, let It be “amen,” to you. Then the Spirit of God, then, spiritual joy will flow like the river. “He’d be like a man, a tree, that’s planted by the rivers of water. His leaves shall not wither. He’ll not sit in the seat of the scornful or the unbeliever, or the ungodly person that lives after the things of the world, but he’ll bring forth fruits in its season.” What kind of fruit? If you’re planted in Christ, you’ll bring spiritual fruit, spiritual fruits of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Ghost lives in you.

E-86 Bine s-a vorbit, prin femeia de la fântână. În încheiere, să spunem aceasta. Ea a zis, când L-a văzut, El arăta ca un om obişnuit. Nu exista nimic remarcabil referitor la El, deosebit, mai degrabă.

E-86 It was well spoke, by the woman at the well. In closing, we’d say this. She said, when she seen Him, He looked like an ordinary man. There wasn’t nothing conspic-ing about It, conspicuous, rather.

E-87 Căci Scriptura a zis: „Nu avea frumuseţe ca noi să-L dorim. Ne-am ascuns feţele de la El.”

E-87 For the Scripture said, “There’s no beauty we should desire Him. We hid our faces from Him.”

E-88 Şi ei fac acelaşi lucru astăzi. Dacă nu prosperă din roadele Duhului, dacă nu prosperă pe lucrurile care aparţin lui Dumnezeu, Cristos este un lucru neevlavios pentru ei: „Un grup de holy-rollers, un grup de oameni nebuni care nu sunt în gândirea corectă.”

E-88 And they do the same thing today. If they’re not thriving off of the spiritual fruits of the Spirit, if they’re not thriving upon the things that pertains to God, Christ is an ugly thing to them, “A bunch of holy-rollers, a bunch of crazy people that hasn’t got their right mind.”

E-89 Dar, pentru credincios, Îl îmbrăţişează. Acela este Viaţă eternă. Nimic nu ne poate despărţi de dragostea lui Dumnezeu. Nici moartea, nici suferinţa, nici foametea, sau nimic nu ne poate despărţi. Noi suntem asiguraţi Etern în întăriturile Lui. Acolo suntem, când El a îmbrăţişat crucea aceea.

E-89 But, to the believer, he embraces It. It’s Life Eternal. Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Neither death, nor sorrow, nor famine, or nothing can separate us. We’re Eternally secured in His braces. There we are, when he embraces that cross.

E-90 Femeia a zis, când... El i-a pus întrebarea: „Vrei să-mi dai să beau?”

E-90 The woman said, when…He asked the question, “Would you bring Me a drink?”

E-91 Ea a zis: „Dar nu se obişnuieşte ca Tu, un om, un Evreu, să pui unei Samaritence, mie, o astfel de întrebare.”

E-91 She said, “But it’s not customary for You, a man, a Jew, to ask a Samaritan, myself, such a question.”

E-92 El a zis: „Dar dacă ai şti...” Cu alte cuvinte, în acest fel: „Dacă ai şti cât de aproape eşti de Izvorul Vieţii, Eu ţi-aş da apă să nu mai vii aici să scoţi. Aceea v-ar transplanta, pe voi Samaritenii. Aceea te va aduce, pe tine păcătosule.” Acela-i necredinciosul, şi nu-L crede. „Dacă Mă vei lăsa doar să te smulg în această dimineaţă,” a zis El: „te voi planta lângă râuri de apă. Aceea te va pune într-o poziţie, prin botezul Duhului Sfânt, să crezi fiecare Cuvânt ce îl spun ca fiind Adevărul. Tu mă vei lăsa să te smulg, în această dimineaţă, vei fi o mlădiţă bună. Tu nu aparţii în via aceea sălbatică. Tu aparţii pe aici, astfel lasă-mă să te smulg; să te plantez în Numele Meu, lângă râuri, fiecare afluent al Cuvântului lui Dumnezeu. Că orice Cuvânt al lui Dumnezeu este adevărat. Orice promisiune Divină este Adevărul. Aceea te va planta lângă râuri de aceeaşi apă, un Dumnezeu. Şi vei rodi roada, la timpul tău. Frunzele tale nu se vor vesteji. Şi orice vei face va prospera. Vei sta când nu mai este nici un alt loc de stat. Vei sta în picioare oricum, ştiind că Dumnezeu a făcut promisiunea. Dă-mi voie să te smulg,” a zis El: „şi să te plantez pe aici lângă Apa aceasta, ca tu să nu mai trebuiască să alergi la aceste locuri de crezuri, şi denominaţii, să cauţi. Tu nu-L poţi găsi acolo, oricum. Dă-mi voie să te smulg, de lângă fântâna aceasta uscată de aici, din care trebuie să scoţi în găleţi de tablă, şi să faci scandal şi să te cerţi, şi bei puţin, şi vii înapoi şi bei puţin. Îţi voi da Viaţă Eternă, bucurie, chiar ca un izvor, ţâşnind în Viaţa veşnică. Dă-mi voie. Dă-mi voie să o fac,” a zis Cristos femeii, păcătoase.

E-92 He said, “But if you knew…” Other words, like this, “If you knew how close you was to the Fountain of Life, I’d give you water that you wouldn’t come here to draw. I’ll transplant you, you Samaritan. I’ll bring you, you sinner.” That’s the unbeliever, and doesn’t believe in It. “If you’ll only let Me pluck you up this morning, He said, I’ll plant you by the rivers of water. I’ll put you in a position, by the baptism of the Holy Spirit, that you’ll believe every Word that I say is the Truth. You’ll just let Me pluck you up, this morning, you’d be a good branch. You don’t belong in that wild vineyard. You belong over here, so let Me pluck you up; plant you in My Name, by the side of the rivers, every tributary of God’s Word. For every Word of God is true. Every Divine promise is the Truth. I’ll plant you by the rivers of one water, one God. And you’ll bring forth fruit, in your season. Your leaves shall not wither. And whatsoever you do will prosper. You’ll stand when there’s no other place to stand. You’ll stand, anyhow, knowing that God made the promise. Let Me pluck you up,” He said, “and plant you over here by this Water, that you—you don’t have to run to these creed places, and denominational places, to find. You can’t find It there, anyhow. Let Me pluck you up, by this old dry well here, that you have to take tin buckets, and rattle and fuss, and drink a little, and come back and drink a little. I’ll give you Eternal Life, joy, just like a well, bubbling up unto everlasting Life. Let Me. Let Me do that for you,” Christ said to the woman, the sinner.

E-93 Şi El spune acelaşi lucru Bisericii în această dimineaţă. Ştiţi există un Dumnezeu. Credeţi că există un Dumnezeu. Dar în afilierea voastră, ceva v-a tăiat. Tu eşti într-un pustiu. Nu există bucurie spirituală. Ţi- ar place să te simţi ca cei din Ziua Cincizecimii. Nu ţi-ar place să ai bucuria care au avut-o ei?

E-93 And He says the same thing to the Church this morning. You know there is a God. You believe there is a God. But in your affiliation, something cut you off. You’re in a desert. There’s no spiritual joy. You’d like to feel like they did on the Day of Pentecost. Wouldn’t you love to have the joy they had?

E-94 Când Dumnezeu a revărsat Viaţa Lui în prima mlădiţă a pomului, acel pom începe să se comporte ca un popor beat. Ei s-au clătinat sub impactul Duhului. Femei mici, drăguţe ca fecioara Maria, s-a comportat acolo ca şi cum a fost beată. Oh, ea a fost beată de Duhul. Şi ea a încercat să vorbească, şi nu putea. Ea avea buze bâlbâitoare, care înseamnă „împărţit,” este a bâlbâi, încercând să spună ceva. Ea a fost aşa de plină de Duhul încât nu a putut-o spune. „Ah-ah-ah-ah,” buze bâlbâitoare. E-94 When God poured in His Life, into the first branch of the tree, that tree begin to act like drunken people. They staggered under the impact of the Spirit. Lovely, holy little women like the virgin Mary, out there acting like she was drunken. Oh, she was drunk upon the Spirit. And she tried to talk, and she could not. She had stammering lips, which means “cloven,” is to stammer, trying to say something. She was so full of the Spirit, she couldn’t say it. “Uh-uh-uh-uh,” stammering lips. Then, all of a sudden, with another language, they spoke out.

E-95 And a little preacher that didn’t know enough to write his own name on a piece of paper, turned over a soap box or something, or a stump, and jumped on it.

E-96 Well, them unbelievers begin to say, “These men are drunk. That’s that bunch of holy-rollers.”

E-97 This little fellow picked up the Scripture; not a creed book, but the Scripture. Said, “Ye men of Israel, and you that dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known unto you. For these are not drunk as you think they are, seeing it’s the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoke of by the prophet Joel, ‘It shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I’ll pour out My Spirit,’ that’s what’s pulsating them.”

Eu le cer numai să nu fie legaţi cu crezul lor, ci să vină la Tine, şi să fie eliberaţi şi cultivaţi, şi Duhul să fie revărsat înăuntru. This intellectual world, today, Father, has got far away from that. They look for great crowds and great churches, like the wild vine. But, Lord, we—we stick to that sweet fruit, that fruit of the Spirit, that brings sweetness to our soul.

E-138 We ask now that You bless these sick people that are coming forward to be prayed for. Lord, could I ask You once more, would You sanctify this unworthy branch, by Your Blood? That Your Spirit would pour through it, show forth the living God, that You’re the same God that talked to the woman at the well. May it be so, that the people might be beyond confusion, that they might see where the Spirit of God really lies, is in the heart of the believer, not in some church, but in the heart of a believer. Grant it, Father. I’ll wait on You now, for You to show forth Yourself, as You showed forth in the days of old. If it brings forth a difference from what that Vine brought forth, then it’s the wrong vine. That’s what I’m trying to say. It’s got to be the same Life.

May the Lord God grant it.

May they return at another date, happy, rejoicing, testifying, as hundreds could testify today around the world, of Your healing Power. This prayer we say over this people, asking it to be so, in the Name of Jesus Christ the Son of God. May the Light of God break forth and heal all. Amen.
